Kilcarry Bridge and Ryan Treacy clear the last

Race four at Sligo saw another winner 'boss' things throughout as Kilcarry Bridge a previous victor at Cleveragh, dominated in the Ellen's Pub Maugherow Handicap Hurdle under Ryan Treacy. Salacious Sally put it up to Kilcarry Bridge down the back straight and it looked like the pair weren't for catching from a fair way out.
When Salacious Sally came down at the second last it was bar a fall at the last for Kilcarry Bridge and he eventually accounted for Honourable Lady by six and a half lengths.
Kilcarry Bridge headed the market at 3/1 with the gambled-on Jackofalltrades and that one could manage no better than fourth.
Winning trainer John Ryan said: "He won his maiden here in similar fashion. He lost his confidence over fences then but he's a smashing horse.
"On some of his chase runs I thought he was nearly a certainty here but when they've been on the floor a few times you just never know." (AM & EM)
