Time For A Pint took the bumper at Downpatrick, the 'Your Name Here' INH Flat Race, scoring on his debut under David O’Leary for Gordon Elliott.
The five-year-old son of Artan was 11/1 this morning, but was friendless with punters, and went off a 14/1 chance.
He hit the front two furlongs from home, and he was driven out from there to score by six lengths, beating Old Castletown (7/1 to 4/1 on-course), for Ted and Katie Walsh, into second. Star Counsel finished seven lengths back in third under Declan Queally for Edmond Kent at 8/1.
So Oscar was 9/2 this morning with Paddy Power, opening on track at 7/2 before going off the 11/4 second favourite.
The Mags Mullins trained gelding faded before the home turn and he finished fourth under Mikey Fogarty. Kings Speaker was sent off the 2/1 favourite for Willie and Patrick Mullins, but he could only manage a well-beaten fifth.
Gordon Elliott said afterwards: "He is a nice big horse and we thought he would run well.
"I was a bit worried about the ground and he’ll make a big three mile chaser.
"He is owned by Patrick Beirne from Kilcock. He gave me a good start in the game as he let me use his yard when I had no yard."
