Thyne Again Impressive at Naas
The Liam Burke trained Thyne Again produced a top-drawer performance when scoring by 20 lengths on his seasonal debut at Naas.
The 7-y-o jumped confidently throughout in the hands of Davy Russell and despite tiring in the closing stages won unchallenged.
'He will next go for the Durkin Chase over 2m4f,' said a delighted Burke. 'I was a little worried about his fitness on that testing ground, but he jumped very well.'
Liam Burke is of the opinion that 2m4f is probably the horse's ideal trip, but may step him up to 3 miles at some stage in the season as his pedigree suggests that he should have no problem with it.
