Third time lucky for Third World
Third World and Declan McDonogh touch off Excelcius and Colin Keane

Moyglare Stud Farm colt Third World made it third time lucky in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Killarney.
The successful son of Dansili wasn't seen to best effect when only sixth at Galway, but he put that right here, getting there in time under Declan McDonogh to touch off fellow 9/2 chance, Excelcius by a head.
It was two and three parts of a length then to favourite, Karasi, in third.
"I was pleased with that and Declan rode him very nicely. We thought if he reproduced his first run at the Curragh he would be good enough to win and sure enough it was," said Kris Weld, representing his father, winning trainer Dermot.
"Galway was a messy race and things didn't pan out but he has put it right today. We'll go to Listowel next for the nursery there. He is a beautifully bred horse and hopefully will improve as time goes on."
