Flying Dolphin made it third time lucky when making all to claim the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden Auction Maiden.
Ben Coen bounced out in front on the 4/5 shot in the extended nine furlong contest and the Zoffany gelding found plenty in the closing stages.
Coen asked the Johnny Murtagh-trained charge for an effort passing the two pole and he looked in control from there as he posted a two-and-three-quarter length success over Hazy Memory.
“I thought coming here today he would be hard to beat,” said Murtagh.
“We put the cheek-pieces on him because he's just a bit starey, Ben said he was looking at everything.
“We'll see where we go next, the plan was today and it's always nice to get a maiden out of the way.
“Ben said a mile-and-a-quarter is good for him and he might even get a mile-and-a-half, but he's not a slow horse either.”
