J J Slevin carried the silks of the legendary Dawn Run to victory when winning on Boro Tari in the Liam Leacy Plumbing & Heating Ltd. Maiden Hurdle at Wexford.
The joint favourite shed her maiden tag on outing number five, and at the first attempt over jumps here, beating Get A Price and fellow market-leader Cotton End by three lengths and five lengths.
Henry de Bromhead’s winner was never far away before striking for home in the straight.
Said de Bromhead in the aftermath: "That was great, I'm delighted for everyone and she won nicely. JJ was happy with her. Her jumping was still a bit green but he gave her a super ride and I'm delighted. It's great to win in those colours. If she is half as good as one of the mares that was in them we will be going well!
"All the Hills are here and it's great. She might stay in mares novices now. Today was have a look and see how we'd get on. She is a nice big scopey mare and fences will crown her."
The Stewards granted permission for this race to be started by flag.
