The Liquidator lays down the law!

Amateur jockey Jane Mangan is showing no ill affects of her unfortunate Cheltenham experience and steered her first Grade 1 winner when riding British raider The Liquidator to win the top level Betdaq Exchange Champion INH Flat Race at Punchestown today.
Previously fourth in the Cheltenham Bumper, The Liquidator was produced to lead by Mangan entering the straight before staying on well for a two and three parts of a length over Gilt Shadow
Afterwards winning trainer Pipe stated “The Liquidator isn't over big and there's not a lot of him but he's tough and gutsy. We also trained the dam (Alikat) it probably helped when the favourite (Briar Hill - lame) came out.
“He (The Liquidator) has been on the go for a long time and was second in Cheltenham back in November when he proved that he was a good horse. He'll make a smashing hurdler next season. Jane has given him a great ride and she followed instructions perfectly.”
