The Kielys strike in the bumper
The concluding Rockview (Q.R.) INH Flat Race was billed as a match between Willie Mullins' Alfred James and Edward O'Grady's Do Brazil but as it turned out neither could even make the frame as Reizovic short-headed Hi Big Man with Boston Bob a close up third.
Do Brazil could find no extra when it mattered and he dropped to fourth whilst Alfred James didn't appear to relish the very testing ground and he had to settle for fifth.
John Kiely, the winning trainer, said of the David Kiely (no relation) ridden victor: "I always liked him and I was hoping the ground wouldn't be too soft – he went through it well.
"This is a nice horse but he'll take another year. He is by a very up and coming stallion (Catcher In The Rye). I have three or four of them – Frawley and Oneeightofamile are two of them."
