The Black Devil boldly making all for his maiden win in the Jossestown Handicap at Clonmel this evening, scoring for father and son combination Ger and Colin Keane.
Jockey Colin Keane was quickly away on the son of Kheleyf and the pair maintained their strong gallop to eventually see off House Limit by a length and a half.
Trim, Co Meath trainer Ger Keane later stated “he eventually got his head in front but thank God the ground came right for him in the last week!
Keane added “he was a big raw horse and was backwards in his maidens and the cheek-pieces were a help to him today - he'll go for something similar next in Fairyhouse.”
