Teofilo colt spoils Moore's party
The Jim Bolger trained Parish Hall a first runner for his sire Teofilo, somewhat spoiled the party for visiting jockey Ryan Moore in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Leopardstown today.
Moore, a notable jockey booking on Ballydoyle trained horses today, was on board 5/6 favourite Raphael Santi but the colt’s strong late finish was not enough to catch Parish Hall, under Kevin Manning. Requinto had made a bold bid to make all but tired in the closing stages for third spot.
Afterwards Bolger stated “Parish Hall is the first runner for his sire Teofilo and is a nice horse with a future. He is a great mover and will step up to seven furlongs soon.”
