The John Joe Walsh-trained Tellherimnothere galloped on strongly to land the spoils in the six-year-old plus maiden hurdle at Gowran Park.
Ambrose McCurtin sent his mount into the lead at the third last in the two-mile event and she always looked in control down the straight. Moiqen came through to chase at the second last but never looked like getting on terms, settling for a six-length second. Park Ranger was sent off the easy to back 6/4 favourite but failed to pick up when asked for an effort turning for home and could only finish third.
The winner, who was backed from 6/1 into 9/2, had made her last three starts at Limerick without any luck and the change of venue worked a treat.
"She took a while to win and she's been unlucky a few times at Limerick where she was brought down and fell. So we had to get her away from Limerick!" said Walsh.
"My son Martin owns her and I trained the dam who won a few on the Flat for me. I also trained the grand-dam who was a sprinter and won a Listed race for me.
"She'll be kept on the go and might go jumping fences soon."
