Tawaazon (11/2) registered consecutive wins at Dundalk today, following up a claiming maiden success at the track last month in the Floodlit Fridays At Dundalk Handicap (div I).
Ridden by Sean Bowen to both successes, the four year old went unclaimed for €20,000 when winning in September and today scored a short-head win over Instrumental
Bowen, a nephew of well known point-to-point handler and Clonmel hotelier John Nallen, said "he broke quickly, I was happy to sit behind the leaders as they went a good, strong pace which probably suited him.
“He travelled very well down to the two marker and just had one go at them from there. He was always galloping towards the line. He loves it up here, loves the surface and Denis' (Hogan, winning trainer) horses are in good form which is a great thing and hopefully the winners keep coming."
