Tatacoa Wins For O'Mara
Thomond O'Mara, who has a great record with his runners at Galway was back in the winner's enclosure following the opening race on Sunday.
His two-year-old colt Tatacoa produced a gutsy performance to win by five lengths in the hands of Wayne Lordan.
'He handled the ground well and had run well here at the festival when finishing third. He wasn't winning out of turn,' said the successful trainer.
