Talab shows his talent
Talab came home a comprehensive winner of the second division of the three mile maiden hurdle under Roger Loughran.
The five-year-old set sail three hurdles out and quickly ended the contest. It was seven lengths back to Ben Of Fore with 5/2 favourite Road Train Bob a distance back in third.
Dessie Hughes, the trainer of the 7/2 chance, said: " He is a huge horse but is only five. There's plenty of scope with him.
"He wouldn't be a handicapper yet as he is only learning the game so I'll look for a winners of one race for him on good ground."
