Alan Magee
Surprise win for Greanta
Greanta is ridden clear by Rory Cleary to take the nursery

Jim Bolger was out of luck with New Approach at Ascot but Greanta appreciated the combination of easier ground and the step up to a mile to take the Kanturk Nursery Handicap for the Coolcullen maestro.
The Intense Focus filly was dropped 3lb to a mark of just 54 following her handicap debut at Dundalk last week and was sent off an unconsidered 14/1 chance.
However she was a different proposition with today’s conditions, and struck the front just over a furlong out.
Rory Cleary kept her up to her work and she stayed on strongly to beat Crafty Codger (7/1) by a length and a half, with Keyword (6/1) in third.
