There was a one-two for trainer Jim Bolger in the Naas Racecourse Apprentice Handicap as Cuban Surfer (3s into 9/4 fav on track) led home stablemate National Identity (9/1), with Earl Of Bunnacurry (12/1) filling third spot.
Gavin Ryan was on board the victorious Teofilo filly, and she lengthened away inside the final furlong to score by four lengths.
She had won a nursery on soft ground at Galway last year, and would have appreciated the little ease in the ground here after a few showers had arrived earlier in the afternoon.
The winning trainer Jim Bolger said: "She could run again later this week (at Leopardstown on Thursday). The second horse also ran nicely.
"The jockey is in demand."
