Supple back in the winning groove
Rare Symphony made virtually all in the Gowran Racing Festival Next Weekend Handicap to score by a convincing three and a half lengths.
Willie Supple, on his third ride back after breaking his collarbone (that happened on August 26th), did the steering on the first-time blinkered daughter of Pastoral Pursuits and she was too strong for Scots Gaelic and Buy Back Bob
Winning trainer Paul Deegan's representative commented: "She got a soft lead in front and Willie gave her peach of a ride. There are no plans."
Meanwhile winning breeder, Peter Reynolds of Ballymacoll Stud fame said: "She loves that ground and that's the thing to do with her – stick her out in front. Robert (Dore) who bred her with me is here too and he couldn't be more pleased."
