Super Treat gained his maiden win at the sixth attempt today as the Tim Doyle trained gelding landed the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden under jockey Bill Lee at Fairyhouse today.
The son of Tamayuz raced prominently throughout today's contest and in the end quickened very well in the home straight before scoring a five lengths win over Dedillon
Doyle later said “he did it well, bounced very smart from a badish draw and I was able to get a nice position all the way.
“He travelled really well, I was there plenty soon enough and could have done with a lead a bit longer, but I had no choice as he was going too easy. I'd say he was just having a look going to the line but he did it well.
“I was third on him in Cork over seven and he was third over six in Leopardstown. On his last two runs there were excuses for him. The ground went soft for him in Tipperary and he wouldn't have liked it. He likes that ground, well watered nice ground.
“He's won now and hopefully he can go on a win a handicap.”
