Sunsetstorise got the Francis Flood yard off the mark for 2016 when easily winning the Bobbyjo Bistro Great Food Great Deals Handicap Chase at Fairyhouse today, under jockey Ger Fox.
The son of Millenary travelled well throughout and in the end readily went clear of his rivals for an 18 lengths win over Hurricane Ivan
Afterwards Fran Flood junior, representing his father, stated “he jumped great and I think he got the run of the race. He was well exposed before this, and I think a lot of them have been handicapped out of it. He coped with the sticky ground well.
“He was bred by two cousins of mine Tom and Lar O’Toole. Sadly Lar has passed away but his wife Noeleen has carried it on. He’s owned by a syndicate of nine near me in Grangecon.”
