Stunning View for Weld at Galway
Galway specialist Dermot Weld saddled his first winner of the week when 4/9 favourite Stunning View came home in front of the radissonhotelgalway.com (C&G) EBF Maiden in the hands of Pat Smullen for owner Dr Ronan Lambe.
Winning trainer Weld said afterwards, “He did it as we expected and thought he would do it. He’s a very nice colt and we’ve a lot to look forward too and we won't be rushing him."
"It was very good maiden he ran in at the Curragh first time. We have him entered in the Goffs Million and the National Stakes."
William Hill have quoted the Shamardai colt at 25/1 for the 2010 Stan James 2000 Guineas.
