The Mouse Morris trained 13/8 favourite Horendus Hulabaloo ran out the well backed winner of the Kevin Broderick Memorial Handicap Chase at Listowel today, winning for the Gigginstown/Bryan Cooper axis.
The son of Beneficial raced prominently throughout and went clear of his rivals after a slow jump at the third last. At the line, Horendus Hulabaloo, which was backed from 5/2 earlier in the day, had his rivals out with the washing, with 24 lengths to spare over runner-up The Conker Club 25 lengths to De Benno and another 25 to Irish Thistle
Afterwards Morris stated "he has taken well to fences and coped with that ground. He'll have no problem on better ground and I've no immediate plan."
