The Listowel Race Directors Mares Beginners Chase saw an easy winner in the Lar Byrne trained Stonehouse in the hands of John Cullen when running out a 9 length victory.

P J Dunne who was representing Lar Byrne stated, "He'd probably like the ground a bit softer and he could go for a break if the ground gets fast."
