With A Start struck on his return from a short break when claiming the concluding mile-and-a-half handicap at Leopardstown for Denis Hogan.
The Sea The Stars had trailed in last on his most recent outing at Navan in late April but left that form well behind today.
Seamie Heffernan produced the 16/1 shot (touched 25/1) to challenge a furlong from home and he got on top in the closing stages to record a three-parts-of-a-length win over Champagne Terri
Heffernan said afterwards:- “I had a lovely trip around and I didn't use any horse.
“He had some good runs at Dundalk so we knew the surface would suit. He's had a little break and he's come back stronger. Hopefully now Denis can win plenty of races with him.
“It was my fault the last time. I kicked him out the gates because I fancied him and he ran too keen.”
