Stardayz made all under Luke McAteer to win the Extra Places Everyday At BetVictor Fillies Maiden.
After Chica Power on Wednesday, it was a second winner of the week at Dundalk for Mullingar trainer Ciaran Murphy and, like that winner, this filly carries the colours of former licence-holder Dot Love.
Getting off the mark on her fourteenth start, the 59-rated daughter of Camelot had a handy lead entering the straight and kept up the gallop to readily defeat Gold Wing by three and a half lengths. Ballysax was a further three quarters of a length away in third.
McAteer said: “She ran badly here the other day (last over 1m4f on Wednesday), Gavin Ryan rode her and he told me she didn't stay and to just keep the bit fresh in her mouth.
“Ciaran just said to keep it simple, if you want to break and make it if there is no pace just do that.
“I knew I was going well turning in but I couldn't believe how far I was left off. She had form going back and it was nice to get a winning bracket for her before she goes to the sales.
“I'm down to 3lb as well now which is a big help.”
