Stack/Lordan take opener
Tommy Stack took the opening race on today’s card, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden, when Rayha Cass came home in front by three-quarters-of-a-length in the hands of Wayne Lordan.
Fozzy Stack stated afterwards, “She was a little bit disappointing the last time she ran but the ground was fairly deep here that day.
"I think dropping her back to 6f was a big help. We’ll try and get her some black type next.”
Gina Mangan injured her arm in the race preliminaries when the Frank Ennis trained Kims Dream unseated her on the way to the start .
The Antonius Pius gelding was withdrawn.
