Trainer Tommy Stack and stable jockey Wayne Lordan have made a typically good start to the new season and their latest winner was Moldowney in the iRadio IRL Maiden at Dundalk this evening.
The son of Dalakhani had no racing room a furlong out but showed the benefit of two previous outings once switched to challenge, quickening well to hold the challenge of Sinetta
Following the win, Stack's son and assistant Fozzy Stack reported “he didn't get the clearest of passages but he won snugly. He's a nice horse, stays well and is improving.
“He should get a mile and a half and he wants goodish ground.”
The win was Stack Snr's eighth winner of the season while Lordan leads the Flat Jockeys' Championship currently, on 15 wins.
