Robert Tyner saddled Square Sphere to win The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Maiden Hurdle with Philip Enright doing the steering for the Michael O'Connell Syndicate from Kinsale Co Cork.

Winning trainer Tyner said afterwards, "She did it well, we'll look at a mares handicap hurdle for her at Cork in a couple of weeks time or The Dorans Pride Hurdle at Limerick. We'd have no problem in stepping her up in trip."
