Spencer records double
Jamie Spencer recorded a double this evening at Dundalk when winning the feature race The Irish Stallions EBF Star Appeal Stakes (Listed Race) aboard the Mark Wallace trained Captain Ramius in the colours of Clodagh McStay.
Mark Wallace saddled his last winner here this evening in Ireland as he is heading off to Australia where he is to embark on a new training career 'down under'.
Mark Wallace said, "The horse is entered in The Horris Hill Stakes at Newbury next month so may go there with him next. Jamie gave him a very good ride from the front."
Spencer's earlier winner came on Finicius trained by Eoin Griffin.
