Leading first-season sire No Nay Never put another winner on the board when Never No More looked smart in justifying odds of 4/7 in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Race (Plus 10 Race) at Dundalk.
Champion jockey elect Donnacha O'Brien was aboard this Naas second placer for his father Aidan, and he asserted inside the last to beat Chicago May by three and a quarter lengths.
"He's smart. He impressed me there, I hadn't ridden him a whole lot at home," said the winning jockey.
"He had a good run the last day behind a decent horse and he made no mistake today. He feels smart.
"He travelled smooth, he's still a little bit raw, and when I hit him a flick he quickened up nicely.
"I think he'll be a fast horse, five or six."
