Solwhit's lead horse lands gamble
Lash It On

The market spoke in favour of Lash It On in the second division of the Leugh Handicap Hurdle at Thurles and he duly collected.
Rob Jones produced the 7/2 shot (from 13/2) to challenge along with 9/4 favourite Coolking before the third last.
The Charles Byrnes-trained gelding jumped on at the penultimate flight and kept on well in the closing stages to score by two-and-three-quarter lengths.
20/1 Wyndcrest claimed Coolking before the last to take the runner-up spot but could make no impression on the winner.
Lash It On had run out a good winner of a handicap chase at Downpatrick last month but was well held off a higher mark at Tramore a fortnight ago.
“He sulked the last day. He got blocked jumping the first and didn't handle the track afterwards,” revealed Byrnes.
“He enjoyed himself more today. He's Solwhit's lead horse. That's him for the year and he'll go back to doing that now."
