Solness (4/7f) completed consecutive wins today, landing the TipperaryRaces.ie Rated Novice Chase at that venue for jockey J.J. Slevin, trainer Joseph O'Brien and owners Bronsan Racing.
Percy Warner and Gallyhill were late withdrawals, due to the drying ground, for today's four-runner race with Solness making all for a five lengths win over Chameron
Successful on career debut over hurdles at Auteuil in February 2022, the five year old today followed up a Leopardstown maiden chase win last month and Slevin said “he jumped well at Leopardstown, jumped well again today and won well at the line.
“He is a pretty uncomplicated horse and today's race looked a good opportunity for him going up to 2m4f. He stayed at it well.
“He'll be a nice two-mile handicapper for the summer and I think he'll be fine on good, watered summer ground.”
