Snap wins for McAteer/Curtis
Navan based trainer Liam McAteer recorded his second win of the season at The Curragh today, when his Snap ran out the neck winner of the Go Racing At The Curragh Handicap, under Ben Curtis.
The son of Dr Fong raced prominently, moved through to lead over two furlong out, before eventually holding the late challenge of Kilmannin by a neck.
Afterwards McAteer stated “the ground was too quick for Snap the last day and this seems to be his ground and track. He'll go to Galway next week for another handicap.”
