Tracey Collins if of course represented on tomorrow's Derby card at Epsom, with Chiclet in 'the Dash,' and she helped Pat Smullen to a double on the evening at Leopardstown when Beat The Ballot (7/1) took the concluding TierOne Handicap.
Smullen had earlier teamed up with his boss, Dermot Weld, to capture the Listed King George V Cup with Radanpour but at this more modest level he got Beat The Ballot home in the 50 to 70 affair, by two lengths from Mezogiorno
"It suits him better with a big weight in that grade. He's a big, strong horse. It worked out perfect as he'd a good position and it's important to keep him balanced," reported Smullen.
The Stewards informed Miss Clare Louise Cannon, trainer that Coreczka would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
K.J. Manning, rider of Craic Agus Spraoi trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stumbled and lost action.
