Pat Smullen has now gone three clear at the head of the Irish jockeys championship after a snug success on the Andrew Kinsella trained Gunga Din who obliged in the first division of the Jack Murphy Numbersixvalverde Handicap.
Followers of the Andrew Kinsella trained four-year-old had very few anxious moments as he cruised to the front and stayed on well to pass the judge three and a half lengths in front of his rivals and provide Smullen with his 80th winner of the campaign.
