Smooth from Zaarito
Zaarito did what would be expected of a 1/3 shot when taking the I.N.H. Stallion Owners European Breeders Fund Maiden Hurdle.
In front from after four out, Matt O'Connor's mount wasn't hard pressed to contain the challenge of Time Electric
Successful trainer, Colm Murphy said: "They went no gallop and he (Matt) did the right thing going on in front. He jumped better there. He'll get an entry in the Deloitte Hurdle at Leopardstown and the step-up in grade should help him settle better. Two to two and a half miles is his trip though two miles at the moment might be better for him, it helps him settle more, he is a busy fellow. I'll have more sleepless nights about him."
William Hill go 16/1 (from 20s) for the Supreme Novices' Hurdle whilst Cashmans are unchanged at 12/1 for the same event. Powers also didn't change their quote of 14s.
