The Andrew Slattery trained Cloud Seeker made most of the running to easily win the racingtv.com/freetrial handicap at Limerick.
Although only sixth at Leopardstown on his most recent start, the Masar gelding was taking a big drop in grade here. Sent off a well backed 3/1 chance, the Pat Garvey owned three-year-old was soon prominent under jockey Andrew Slattery.
Heading Rogerwaswrong after less than a furlong, the eventual winner made most from that point. Question Of Class tracked the pace throughout and loomed up alongside over a furlong out. The latter briefly got her head in front but had no answer when Cloud Seeker found extra on the rail to rally inside the final furlong to win eased down by half-a-length.
Winning trainer Andrew Slattery said: "I was disappointed with him the last day in Leopardstown when I think they went slow and I think he is still green. He was working very well and there is more to come from him.
"We'll see where he ends up, he'll go for a better handicap now and he is still a big raw horse who jumps very well. He will be out in the first three-year-old hurdle of the year and goes on soft ground."
