Sky comes home clear in beginners
Michael Doran partnered his second winner on the track when Earth And Sky was left to come home unchallenged in the beginners chase at Down Royal. Rookery Rebel had looked to be travelling better when crashing out at the second last with the pair upsides.
It left Paul Nolan's charge to come home clear, recording a 14-length success over The Paddy Premium
Doran was hopeful of getting the better of his rival before he crashed out:- "I was hoping my lad was going to stay on."
