Co Wicklow based trainer Daniel Miley saddled Sky Captain to win The Fairyhouse Membership 2009 Handicap Hurdle, ridden by Alain Cawley and owned by Stephen O'Connell Miley.

Miley said afterwards, "That's my 5th winner. He's a tough horse and we'll go for another handicap hurdle with him but he's a chaser in the making and we've already schooled him over fences."
