Resourceful Man (100/30 favourite) gained a second success at Dundalk today, landing the DundalkStadium.com Handicap for trainer Eddie Lynam and jockey Declan McDonogh.
Held up in rear-division, the son of Acclamation was produced with impeccable timing by McDonogh, improving him to lead close home and defeat front-running Twilight Man by half a length.
Lynam later reported “he had run well here last year a few times and we gave him a break and he came back fresh and well.
“He enjoyed the trip, he's won over six but he enjoyed the seven. It gives us a few more options and we'll see where we go now.”
“It's nice to get a winner. It's nice that Trevor (Dalzell, owner) is here as well.”
