Clear Skies asserts under Wayne Lordan

Market supremacy went to Thunder Speed (5/2) but out on the track he couldn't live with Clear Skies (4/1 second favourite) in the Dundalk Stadium - Light Up Your Night Handicap at Dundalk.
Half a length and the same were the margins at the line as the sweet travelling Clear Skies (Wayne Lordan) upstaged the aforementioned Thunder Speed, and Shannon Soul
Aidan O'Brien trains Clear Skies for J P McManus and Lordan said in the aftermath: "She handles the surface well and that's her second win here. She's been progressing from each run and could be a nice filly going forward. She travelled well, went forward and kept going well.
"She has a fantastic pedigree (half-sister to Motivator), so every win to her is important."
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Johann Bach trained by Patrick G. Harney was coughing post race.
