Trainer Donie Hassett has been having a quiet run in recent times and recorded his first winner since last March when his Skidroe Joe landed the Kilmacthomas Handicap Chase at Tramore today.
Well ridden by Paul Towend, the son of Even Top led before the final fence before staying on well to beat Isourbell
Afterwards Hassett stated “Skidroe Joe was having his first run back from a break and I thought he would need the run. He’ll go for something similar again next and wants nice ground.”
