Sixteen has his day in sun
The Killocrim Handicap produced another thrilling finish with Sixteen Forty Two emerging on top for trainer Jim Bolger.
Kevin Manning conjured a strong run from his mount inside the final furlong to peg back Hampshire and record a half-length victory.
"Kevin gave him a very very good ride. You need a bit of luck around here and it was a fantastic ride," said Bolger's travelling head lad Ger Flynn.
"He came home really well and everything fell right for him. He's a tricky horse. There has always been a day in him and today was his day."
