Anything her year older brother can do Music Box can do too. Onlyhuman (4yo b g Invincible Spirit — Liscune) won the first at Gowran today for Eddie Lynam and Billy Lee. The finale on the card brought up a double for leading apprentice Ana O'Brien as Music Box (3yo b f Invincible Spirit — Liscune) took the Gowran Park Fillies Maiden.
Ana O'Brien won on Tim Doyle's Punches Pious earlier.
Here for her father Aidan on the favourite Music Box she kept things simple from the front.
Music Box made it fourth time lucky but not before getting a fright from Conversely In the end she prevailed by two lengths and they drew fourteen lengths clear of the third home, Gin Rocks
"She's been a bit unlucky really as she's bumped into a few good horses," said the winning rider.
"She did it nicely in the end. She's a fine big strong mare and got through the ground.
"She still got a bit wound up beforehand but throughout the race she was good and she calmed down a bit after it as well. She's learning from the racing."
