Easy-to-back Shes Some Doll (11/2) was always prominent in the Doneraile Walk Beginners Steeplechase and put her sound jumping to good use to run out a comfortable winner.
Placed in her three previous attempts over fences, Luke Dempsey let her stride on at halfway and she wasn’t troubled thereafter as she accounted for Earths Furies by four and a quarter lengths.
Gavin Cromwell trains the daughter of Yeats, a winner over hurdles at Limerick last Christmas, for the Ever Optimistic Syndicate.
“She’s been knocking on the door and deserved that," said Dempsey.
"She’s a very consistent mare and it was nice to get her head in front today.
“I didn’t really want to be in front but she was jumping and travelling. I didn’t want to disappoint her so I let her bowl away and she kept on well up the hill.”
