Settle For Red (7/2 into 11/4) landed a fifth polytrack success, and a seventh overall, when taking the Dundalk Stadium Business Club 2018 Claiming Race.
Pat Smullen made all on David Marnane’s eight-year-old and he stuck on well to defeat Yamato by a length and three parts.
Smullen carried the silks of the An Geall Is Fearr Teoranta grouping aboard Settle For Red.
"That's his trip. We tried him over a mile and a quarter the last day and while he did get it they just didn't go quick enough. He dictated it there today and Pat gave him a great ride," said Marnane.
"In that grade he's grand. He's been a great horse for us, winning seven times, and has a great constitution."
There were three claims in for the winner, Settle For Red, at 8,000 Euros, and David Marnane successfully holds on to the son of Redback.
