Settigano back to winning ways
Settigano bounced back to form when landing the mile conditions race at Dundalk under Seamus Heffernan.
The Michael Fitzgerald-trained gelding hit the front over a furlong from home and stuck on well to win by a length from Six Of Hearts.
"We just didn't get a clear run with him all year but we worked him here last Sunday morning and he went well so we thought we'd take our chance," said Fitzgerald.
"Seamie rode a tactical race and got it right. There were a few speed horses in it and we were afraid he might be caught for toe.
"There is a Listed race at Lingfield at the end of December and we'll have a look at that."
Even-money favourite Excelerate proved a major disappointment, eventually fading to finish last.
