Seeharn takes Curragh opener
Kevin Prendergast trained his third two year old winner in a week at The Curragh today, when his newcomer Seeharn landed a gamble (8/1 in the morning, into 15/8f) to take the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden.
Ridden by Declan McDonogh, the daughter of Pivotal chased the leaders before eventually getting to the front inside the final furlong, staying on well for a length win over Wild Wind
Afterwards Prendergast stated “Seeharn is probably the greenest of my three recent juvenile winners and the ground is probably as quick as she wants it – she will go for the Fillies Listed race at The Curragh on Derby weekend next.”
