The Denis Cullen trained See Me Here gained a second career handicap hurdle success at Killarney today when justifying strong 2/1 favouritism to win the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle under Galway Plate winning jockey Donagh Meyler.
Meyer gave the winner a fine waiting ride and having raced in rear, eventually made his way through the field to lead after at the last before scoring a two lengths win over Courtin Bb
The winner had been a 3/1 chance generally this morning and following the win, Cullen stated he was a bit unlucky the last day at Limerick where he just propped at the second last and gave away his advantage.”
He added “the owners (BRK Plus Syndicate) are from Kerry, and it means a lot to them to win here. My jump horses are running well in general, and we just needed a little rub of the green.”
