Jockey Eoin Kelly registered a second winner today, landing Killarney's AdareManor Opportunity Handicap Hurdle on Vale Of Glory for his father, owner Michael Kelly and trainer Adrian Murray.
Twenty year old Kelly's (from Granard, Co Longford) previous winner was on his father's Lunastar in a Gowran hurdle in October 2020 and today doubled his score, when improving Vale Of Glory to lead three out before holding The Grey Lad to win by a half-length.
Afterwards trainer Murray said “he has been promising all the time, the horses are running well and he had his ground. We were a little worried stepping him up to 2m4f but he had been second over it before.
“He was unlucky the last day when he was boxed in but today's race went nicely for him.”
