Samovar Justifies Favouritism
Fran Berry has a tremendous record around Tramore and he added to his gains at the seaside venue when sending favourite, Samovar to the front well over a furlong out, on his way to a four lengths success over Genesi in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Maiden.
Successful trainer, John Oxx reported over the phone: "We trained this fellow's dam, Sahara Slew, to win the Riddlesdale at Royal Ascot in Lady O'Reilly's colours. He liked the ground and he travelled well throughout. Fran rides Tramore well and we've had plenty of luck down there."
